ANIELA CZENTORYCKI, (nee Cal), age 91.  Beloved wife of Walerian; loving mother of Richard J. (Kathy Richmond, DO) and Zuzanna Young; cherished grandmother of Kevin W.; dear sister of many deceased brothers and sisters.  Aniela was a Holocaust survivor, taken from her family at 13 years old.  She was forced to live and work labor on a German Family Farm, where she was closely supervised by the SS, under constant threat of death for any perceived infraction.  Even this could not break the spirit of this young woman, whose childhood was a casualty of War.  After the war, much of her family dead and the rest unknown, she ended up in a DP camp.  Here she met her husband Walerian, who had also been forced into a factory labor camp by the SS.  Eventually she immigrated to the US, where she stepped off the boat with nothing but what she could carry, a toddler, and no knowledge of English language.  She worked hard and sacrificed for her family, vowing they would never know the hardships she had.  The woman who we honor here was one of a kind. A true survivor with a generous and loving heart and soul.  People and animals sensed this gentleness and migrated to her.  She did not suffer fools lightly, but would give all she had to someone truly in need.  She was an innately intelligent woman with the soul of an angel--Just like her name sake.  In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Cleveland APL, 1729 Willey Ave, Cleveland, 44113.
