ANN MEHLE, (nee Novak), age 101, completed her journey in this life on April 2nd, 2024 in her home in
Chagrin Falls, Ohio. She was preceded in death by husband Wilbur, parents John and Mary (nee Rebich),
and brother John Novak. She was the loving mother of Marianne Christine Darrah, Karen Lowe (Richard),
and Yvonne White (William); cherished grandmother of Paul Darrah (Tina), Richard Lowe (Amanda),
Jonathan Lowe (Anne), William White, Jennifer White, David White, Ann White, Robert White
(Rebekah), and Abigail White; dearest aunt of Susan Argue (Tom); devoted great-grandmother of 12
and great-great-grandmother of 1.
Born in Masury, Ohio, Ann had a happy childhood and enjoyed playing outside with her best friend
Mickey; they would go skating and sledding in the winter and played hopscotch and went swimming in
the summer. She looked up to her mother who helped out their neighbors by acting as a translator to
those who did not speak English. From this example, Ann learned the value of helping people and
proceeded to live her life in service of others. She worked as a nurse aid, volunteered at her church, and
cared for her parents in their later years. When Ann lost her husband she took solace in her
grandchildren, and focused on the joy still to be found in life. She spent time with family and enjoyed
gardening, reading, baking, and caring for others. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

FRIDAY, APRIL 5, for VISITATION from 10:00-11:00 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.
