BRENDA FRANCIS , a mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 21, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on November 28, 1953, in Manhattan, Kansas, Brenda was a strong-minded woman.

Brenda was the daughter of Hugh and Lina Cunningham (both deceased). She was preceded in death by her treasured siblings: her sister Karen and her brother Pat. Brenda's legacy continues through her surviving family members: her daughter Amie Lynn and granddaughter Hailey and grandson Derek; her son Andy and daughter-in-law Kimberly.

A talented and highly intelligent woman, Brenda earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Ohio University. She worked as a social worker before dedicating her life to being a devoted homemaker. Brenda was known for her clever, curious mind. She had an extraordinary talent for solving crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, and other challenges, often engaging friends and family in friendly competitions.  Brenda was well known for her boxes of homemade Christmas chocolates.
