Christine "Chris" Jarden age 95, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2020 at Jennings Senior Center in Garfield Hts. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Richard "Dick" Jarden. They enjoyed a lifetime of fun and laughter and after a short time apart they are together again square dancing and playing pinochle in heaven. Chris was born on May 31, 1924 in Cleveland to parents Clarence and Agnes Urban.  Chris worked as a teller at Cleveland Trust for many years where she and Dick first met when he came into the bank and she winked at him. Chris touched the lives of so many people and her greatest accomplishment was her family. Chris was the proud mother to seven children: Richard (Susan), Sheila Jakacki (Bob), Michael (Cindy), James (Barb), Sandra Kisilewicz (Andrew), John (Cher), and Robert (Tracy); sixteen grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; also a huge circle of life long friends, including Mary Wolslager. She was preceded in death by her sister Winifred Morehead and her brother John Urban. Family suggests contributions to Jennings Center for Older Adults, 10204 Granger Rd., Garfield Hts., 44125. Private family services were held.
