CLARA V. BROWN , (nee Backiel), age 101, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2023. She was born on July 23, 1922, to Walerian and Apolonia (nee Zielinski) Backiel in Cleveland, Ohio.  Beloved wife of John L. (deceased); loving mother of son Donald (Crystal) and daughter Deborah (Dan); cherished grandmother of David Brown (Ellen), Rosalia Arora (Sal), Larry Brown (Jodi), Gary and Michael Smigelski (Melenda); devoted great-grandmother of Everett Brown, Mira and Soni Arora, and Luke and Mackenzie Brown; dear sister of Regina Olszak and Bruno Backiel (deceased); dearest aunt and great-aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Clara loved animals and spending time with family and enjoyed caring for her adopted dogs.
