DELORES S. RITZ , 74 years old, of Champion, Ohio, died on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.  She was born in Greensville, PA on July 9, 1950 to Philip L. Stanhope and Margaret (Kitko) Stanhope, both of Kinsman, Ohio.  She was a 1968 graduate of Joseph Badger High School.  She attended both St. Patrick Catholic Church in Kinsman, Ohio and St. William Catholic Church in Champion, Ohio.  She married Nick Ritz on March 27, 1971 and they resided together in Champion, Ohio for over 40 years.  She enjoyed baking and cooking, sewing and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Philip L. Stanhope and brother Ronald Stanhope.  She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Nick; her son, Nick (Laura) Ritz of Parma, Ohio; her mother, Margaret of Pittsburgh, PA., sisters Marie (Gary) Morris and Marsha Stanhope of Kinsman, Ohio, her brother Philip J. (Donna - deceased) Stanhope of Kinsman, Ohio and her brother William Stanhope of Pittsburgh, PA.
A memorial service will be held at St. William Catholic Church in Champion, Ohio on Saturday, February 15, at 1:00 PM.
