EDWARD W. KROPF, age 78.  Beloved husband of Eleanor for 53 years (nee Edwards); loving father of Debbie Thomas (Dave), David, and Jeffrey (Noel); cherished grandfather of Matt, Ryan, Zach, Nathan, Sydney, Zoe, and James; dear brother of Barbara Pruden (Richard-deceased) and John Jr. (deceased) (Harriet).  Edward received a scholarship to play basketball at Ohio University and graduated in 1964.  He was an All-American soccer player for OU.  He still holds the record for most shutouts as goalie.  He received his master's degree from Ball State.  Edward was elected to Ashtabula County Basketball Hall of Fame.  He was an industrial arts teacher for Wickliffe High School for 32 years.  Edward was an avid golfer.  Friends may call at LATEK & RYBICKI, A GOLDEN RULE FUNERAL HOME , 7906 BROADVIEW RD.
