FRANCES L. HAMZIK , (nee Lucas), age 86, of Broadview Heights, OH, passed away February 19.  Beloved wife of  the late Thomas E.; dear mother of Thomas (Maureen), Patricia  Marecki (Stan-deceased), Kathleen Lambert (Dennis Mertz), Richard (deceased) (Laurie), and Ann Frederick (Duane); proud grandmother of Matthew and Monica Marecki, Tommy (Paige), Br. Kevin OFM and Mary Pat Hamzik, and William, Lucas and Andrew Frederick; loving daughter of John and Victoria Lucas (nee Guydo) (both deceased); daughter-in-law of George and Mary Hamzik (nee Wargo) (both deceased); dear sister of John Lucas (deceased) and a baby brother (deceased); loving sister-in-law, aunt and cousin.  Frances was born July 16, 1938, in Windber, PA. After graduating from Windber High School Class of 1956, she moved to New York City before settling in Cleveland where she found employment at The Cleveland Trust Company.  After marrying Tom, a fellow Windber transplant, in 1960, she then spent decades raising her children and working at Sears Credit Central before retiring in 2000.  Frances loved music and made sure all her children took music lessons, as well as her grandchildren.  She loved high school bands and football games.  She hosted every family holiday for decades. She truly was the matriarch of her family.  Family suggests donations to Southwest General Hospice , 18659 Drake Rd., Strongsville, OH 44136, which the family would like to thank for their loving care.  Friends may call at LATEK & RYBICKI, A GOLDEN RULE FUNERAL HOME, 7906 BROADVIEW RD. (corner of Broadview and Sprague Rds.) , where services will be held Tuesday, February 25, at 9:30 AM and at the Church of the Assumption, Broadview Rd., at 10:00 AM.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
