JEANNE S. BARBEE, (nee Schuman), age 98. Beloved wife of the late Harold; loving sister of Edward Schuman Jr. (deceased) (Susan) and Betty Lou (deceased); cherished aunt of Jennifer, Eric, Jay, and Geoffrey and great-aunt of 5; dear sister-in-law of Janet Matli of Prescott, AZ. Jeanne passed away peacefully surrounded by the wonderful nursing staff at Villa St. Joseph. Jeanne grew up in Garfield Heights and attended high school. After that she went on to Baldwin Wallace College and became a member of Delta Zeta sorority and Editor-in-chief of the college newspaper. She met her husband Harold in college and in 1944 married him while he was a member of the Army Air Corps band. Harold became prominent in the Cleveland music circles as a teacher and consultant. Jeanne was executive assistant to several presidents of the Air-Maze corporation in Bedford for 47 years. Jeanne was an amazing lady, extremely competent, very professional and admired by all.
