John loved to fish, camp, travel the world and visited  6 out of 7 continents.  He  wintered in South Padre, Texas with Pat for over 20 years.  He loved spending time with his family & friends during his 89 years of life.  He was a proud member of Saint Monica  Church for 70 years where he married his wife in 1954.  He was an avid writer and enjoyed being an activist for improving the city of Garfield Heights.  John built his own home with his father & father in law where he raised his family.  He loved being busy creating homemade projects, having lots of parties to bring his family & friends together.  He got to retire after 32 years of teaching and is now enjoying toasting with his buddies, reminiscing over the good times and watching over all of us from heaven.  We love you dearest husband, dad, grandpa, great-grandpa, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.  We thank you for your many years of support, family building, guidance and wonderful memories.  You will be missed and never forgotten.
