LOIS ANNETTE PODWAY, age 87, died of COVID-19, on January 13, 2021 in Alpharetta, GA. She was born on February 24, 1933 in Cleveland, OH to Walter and Helen Matia.  Beloved wife of the late Ralph R.; loving mother of Richard R. (deceased) and Karen Whitehead (K.C.) cherished Nana of Tyler, Phoebe, and Charlie Whitehead; dear sister of Judge Thomas O. Matia (deceased) (Marilyn H.) and Marilyn Gish (deceased) (Tad-deceased); devoted aunt and great-aunt to many, loyal friend, and die-hard Cleveland Indians fan.  Family suggests contributions to Beaumont School , Cleveland Heights, OH.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 29, at the Church of St. Clare, 5659 Mayfield Rd., Lyndhurst, at 10:00 AM.  If you wish to attend, please meet at church, wear a mask, and stay socially distant. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
