Maria Rajcic (nee Kowalski), age 74, of Parma, Ohio, was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on March 6, 2021.

Maria was born in Fritzlar, Germany, on September 7, 1946, to Zbigniew and Helena Kowalski, who preceded her in death. She had a twin brother, John, who passed away as a child. For most of her childhood, Maria lived in Australia and later moved to America at 13. She graduated from Saint Stanislaus in Cleveland, Ohio. Shortly after graduation, Maria met the love of her life, Ante Rajcic (deceased).  She became a devoted mother to three daughters, Maria (Mia) Rajcic, Theresa Nero (Michael), and Kristina Artis. She was also a very proud Busha to 8 beautiful grandchildren, Amber Ergh, Joshua Rajcic, Rosalie Nero, Theresa (Tessa) Nero, Anthony Nero, Devon Rajcic, Lincoln Artis, and Miles Artis.

Maria continued to work as a bookkeeper two days a week and enjoyed her role for the last 19 years. Maria has had many titles in her life, but none brought greater joy to her than being called "Busha." And like any good Busha, Maria was also well known as an amazing cook and baker who made the best sauerkraut and kolachki.

As a woman of strong faith, Maria was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Parish in Parma. She participated in the church's Women's Renewal program and was part of the Altar & Rosary Society. Maria was known to have a beautiful devotion to our Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary.

VISITING HOURS: FRIDAY 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
