Obituary

MARJORIE J. MORGAN , age 94.  Beloved daughter of John and Emma (both deceased); loving sister of John P. (Mary) (both deceased), Donald J. (Jacquelyn) (both deceased), Robert A. (Jane) (both deceased), and William E. (deceased) (Nancy); cherished aunt and great-aunt of many.  Private family services were held.

"Marjorie "Marge" Morgan, along with her mother and brothers, ventured down from Watersmeet, MI in the Upper Peninsula north woods to the Broadway neighborhood of Cleveland where she was hired as a switchboard operator at Ohio Bell. After 40 years with the phone company she retired as an office manager. She was active with the Telephone Pioneers service organization. Marge enjoyed sports; bowling and golfing for many years. She was also a great fan of the Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers and rarely missed watching a game. Marjorie was devoted to her dear mother, Emma, with whom she shared her life and home. Although she loved all of her brothers, she shared a special bond with her brother John. As time moved on and her brothers passed, she was happy to take on the role of mother, grandmother, and friend to her many nieces and nephews. Marge was a long-time resident of Garfield Heights and her friends and neighbors kept an eye out for her in more recent years. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are asked to make a donation to Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in the old Broadway neighborhood."
