MICHELLE DAWSON. It is with profound grief and great regret that we announce the unexpected passing of Michelle Dawson (nee Mahue), of Brecksville, OH, on Monday, June 1, 2020 at the age of 54.  Michelle was married to Daniel Dawson on July 7, 2001.  She is survived by her husband of nearly 19 years, two sons, John "Jack" and Christopher, ages 17 and 15 respectively, and three sisters, Maya and Celia Mahue, and Christina Henry.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Rachael and Louis Mahue.  Michelle was born on August 26, 1965 in Peoria, Illinois.  She graduated with honors from Richwoods High School.  She continued her education at the University of Richmond (Richmond, VA) where she graduated with honors, earning a double baccalaureate major in American History and English Literature.  She was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Academic Honor Society.  She continued her academic career at the University of Illinois (Urbana-Champaign), earning an MBA.  Her professional career included engagements with many prestigious real estate firms in both Chicago and Cleveland.  Her most recent employment was with Citizens Bank for the last 8 years.  Her personal life was devoted to her family and she enjoyed hiking, biking, reading, and vacationing at the many national parks our country has to offer.  She had a great sense of humor and love of life and she will be sorely missed.  A memorial service will be scheduled at some time in the future.
