Paulette M
Heaphey
November 19, 1956 – March 9, 2022
PAULETTE MARIE HEAPHEY was born on November 19, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio. She passed away on March 9th with her loving husband of over 40 years, Bob, by her side. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and compassion.
Paulette was a proud Godmother to Cassandra and Brian. She was a loving aunt to Matt, Ryan, Brett, Michael, Gerry Peter, Jimmy, Morgan, Hailey, and Corrine.
She was a beloved niece of aunts Loretta, Sally, Laverne (deceased), Ruthie (deceased), and Helen (deceased).
Paulette was a loving and caring sister to Joy and David.
She is survived by her mother Dorothy and is now peacefully by her dad Peter's side.
Paulette loved to travel. She and Bob, with friends, literally went around the world. Of course, she was happiest at home in Atlanta and Sanibel with Bob and their many cats! Paulette was a tireless advocate and volunteer for animals with a particular passion to support 'no kill' shelters.
Her other passions included gardening, shelling, and shopping; she was great at all three. Bob would tell you she excelled at shopping.
Paulette had rheumatoid arthritis since her late 30's. While it created challenges, you would never know. She approached RA like she did all other parts of her life: with positivity, passion, and a smile. While she will be dearly missed, we know she is at peace and smiling at us, our angel.
In lieu of flowers, Bob requests you make a donation to either Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation , American Brain Tumor Association , or Best Friends Animal Society. Thank you.
