RICHARD D. "RICH" PETERS , age 53, of Garrettsville.  Beloved husband of Kim (nee Law); loving father of Josh (Breanna) of Stow and Jake of Garrettsville; devoted son of the late John Paul Peters and Madeline Peters Rice of Aurora; dear brother of John (Andrea) of Aurora and Lorraine Johnson (Jim) of Kent; cherished uncle of Lindsey Johnson Howard (Matt) of Northfield, Carrie Johnson Bourn (Justin) of Salacoa, GA, and Johnny Peters and Rebecca Peters of Aurora; great-uncle of Jackson Howard, Mason Howard, and Maverick Bourn.

Born in Ohio, Rich was a 1985 graduate of Aurora High School. He loved his rock 'n' roll LOUD, favoring a range of artists like Journey, Metallica, Bruno Mars, and numerous Christian artists. A former employee of Rotek in Aurora, he was a CNC VTO machinist; often sought out for special projects and jobs. He loved his home teams of the Browns and the Indians. He truly enjoyed family get-togethers; often on the winning corn hole team! His radiant smile and engaging laughter will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
