SONNY F. LIBECCO , 76, passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, February 20 following a brief illness. He will be missed by loving wife, Esther (nee Milko), with whom he shared nearly 60 years of happiness; children Dr. James Libecco (wife Dr. Julia), Christina Henegar (husband Ron), Kathleen Pagel (husband Brian); grandchildren Thomas, George, Lucy, Nathan, Alexander, Samuel and Maxwell; and brothers John, Ronn, Philip, William and Michael. He was preceded in death by daughter Marcy, brother Dennis, and parents, Earl and Grace Libecco.  Sonny was loved and respected for his ability to fix anything and make friends with anyone. He graduated from East Brady High School (Penn.) in 1962. After marrying Esther, they moved to Warren, Ohio where they raised a loving family. His generous nature shone as he repaired and donated bicycles to neighborhood children. Sonny retired after over 40 years of dedicated service to Delphi and Packard Electric, and recently relocated to the Cleveland area to be near family.  He was a consummate tinkerer. There was no project that Sonny couldn't tackle, and he was always looking for a way to make things better. He loved auto racing, engineering, and building racecars that would capture multiple sports car (SCCA) national championships. He was an avid reader, skilled gardener and loved animals. Most of all, he loved watching his family grow and succeed.  Private services will be held.
