SUE E. NISSEN , age 89, passed away on August 5, 2022, peacefully at her home in Granger Township, Ohio.  She is survived by her former husband and dear friend, Milton Sybert; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Sybert; two grandchildren, Samantha and Jonathan; and four great-grandchildren.

Born July 21, 1933, in Michigan, Sue was adopted in Toledo, OH by a loving couple, Sam and Hazel (nee Robinson) Dickerson who she received as the greatest blessing of her life.  She married Milton Sybert and shared one son, Steve Sybert, who passed away in 1998.  She later married Richard Nissen (deceased) and shared one son, Todd Nissen, who passed away in January of 2022.

Sue was a resident of Granger Lakes, Medina, OH (Granger Township) since 1974 where she was surrounded by great neighbors and friends who always took the time to look out for each other, visit often, and display a special kindness deeply appreciated by her every day.

She was a lady of class, wit, strength, and perseverance.  In her early years, she successfully ran a restaurant in Brunswick, OH before becoming one of the area's top real estate agents in Brecksville, OH.  She was originally licensed in 1978 and stayed licensed until the day she took her last breath.  She was a top producing agent with Smythe, Cramer Co., Howard Hanna Real Estate and most recently with Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realty.  One could say she found her family throughout the best of friends met during her real estate career.  Her life story touched many and she brightened the lives of all who knew her story, her strength, and fell in love with her sharp, witty sense of humor.

Her life will be celebrated on September 17, 2022, at 11 AM, at Granger Lakes Clubhouse, 200 Granger Road, Medina, OH 44256.
