TERRY PRUCHINSKI , age 71, of Broadview Heights, passed away at home on April 9, 2023, Easter Sunday. According to Polish tradition, souls that pass on Easter Sunday go straight to Heaven to join Jesus and their deceased loved ones.

Terry came into this world on October 26, 1951, son of the late Victor Pruchinski and Gloria Olszewski. Raised in Garfield Heights, as a teen he went to work in the Cleveland steel mills. After successfully completing his certified welder training, he worked at American Fence and built a fair share of fences until his retirement in 2013, including a fence that opened up his home to the outside world giving his beloved children safe passage to play.

He leaves behind his dear wife Theresa Vince; children Andrew Pruchinski (Selma), Thomas Pruchinski, Hallie Pruchinski and Charles Pruchinski; brother Joseph Pruchinski, sister Mary Ann Olsen, brother Thomas Olsen; and nephews James Gruhn and George Gruhn, for whom he played an important role of support.

Terry enjoyed music, fishing, and watching birds in the Ohio woods. His good humor will be missed by his cherished companions and his earthly memories will live on in them. He will be remembered and mourned as more than a father, brother, husband, and uncle, but a dearest and most loyal friend.

His ashes will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park on Friday, April 14, at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held afterward at 6569 Beyerle Hill Road, Valley View.
