VERONICA L. "RONNIE" SKROCKI , (nee Filipek), age 91, left us to be with her Lord on the morning of December 6, 2023.  Born in E. Vandergrift, PA, she was the daughter of John J. and Catherine (nee Hornicak) Filipek.  Beloved wife of the late Daniel D.; loving mother of Greg (Terri) and Cheryl Murn (Rudy); cherished grandmother of Scott (Whitney) and Laura Murn, and Sara and Daniel Skrocki; dear sister of Theresa Weber (Robert) and the following deceased: John, Stephen, Daniel, Andrew, Hubert, Joseph, and Katherine Filipek, Mary Tabacek, and Anne Luczak; dearest aunt of many.  Ronnie who was a retired US Postal worker, loved God and her church, and was devoted to her family; first taking care of her husband and children and later helping to raise two sets of grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held MONDAY, DECEMBER 11, 11:00 AM, at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 4750 Turney Rd., Garfield Heights.  Please meet at church.  Viewing and burial are private.
