YOLANDA MANOCCHIO  , (nee Niro), age 89. Beloved wife of the late George; loving mother of Alberto (Ann), Gino (Diana), Carmela Palmentera (Joe, deceased), and Mike (Kelly); cherished grandmother of Jennie Smego (Vincent), Nicholas Palmentera (Stephanie Chiuchiarelli), Angela Carver (Adam), and John, Marisa, Olivia, and Joey Manocchio; dear great-grandmother of Gia (Dejvid), John Edward, Dominic and Anthony; dear great-great-grandmother of Theo and Milana; dearest sister of Maria, Lena, and Tony (all deceased). Yolanda was a woman of extraordinary inner strength. From an early age, she worked diligently on her family's farm in Italy, where she developed resilience and a strong work ethic. At just 15 years old, with the full support of her parents, Yolanda made the courageous decision to emigrate to the United States on her own, seeking new opportunities and a brighter future. Throughout her life, Yolanda devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family. Despite facing numerous hardships over the years, she maintained a positive outlook and a sense of hope that inspired everyone around her. Her unwavering dedication and optimistic spirit were guiding lights to her loved ones. Those of us who were fortunate enough to experience Yolanda's radiant presence are truly blessed. Her beautiful spirit continues to live on in our hearts, and we are inspired to honor her memory by carrying forward her legacy of love, strength, and hope.
