MELISSA MARIE TOOTHMAN, (nee Kontra), age 40, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024.  She was born October 6, 1983, in Parma, Ohio, to Daniel and Ida Kontra.  She was a 2002 graduate of Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School.  She married Joshua Toothman on June 11, 2022, in Marblehead, Ohio and is the loving mother to Olive Elizabeth who is 4 years old.

Melissa loved spending time with her family, camping, laughing, and always wearing a smile on her face.  She was a loving person, devoted wife, caring mother, daughter, sister, and friend.  Melissa was an amazing person all around and radiated love wherever she went.

She is survived by her husband Joshua; her daughter Olive; her parents Dan and Ida Kontra; her three sisters Michele Kontra, Christine Kontra, and Jackie Seitzinger (Jeff); and her nephews and nieces Nick, Allie, Bella, Daniel, and Jimmy.
